We envision a context-aware services environment that senses the real intent of its users and renders services for people's everyday life. Current research focuses on developing cutting-edge machine learning, computer vision, and text mining techniques to recognize semantic-level information from large-scale online media, including images, video, and text, and using the technology to develop intelligent systems for video surveillance, customer relationship management, digital signage, and mobile services.
