NEC Laboratories America, Inc., Princeton Campus
The research target of NEC's Quantum IT group
is to find problems of practical
importance for which a quantum computer has a significant advantage
over any classical computer. The group is a theoretical complement to
the experimental group at NEC Nano Electronics Research Labs in Tsukuba,
Japan. We aim to make progress in the fields of quantum algorithms,
quantum error-correcting codes, and quantum communication complexity.
