I am a researcher at NEC Labs working on efficient representation learning and distributed machine learning. I received my PhD from University of Wisconsin in 2013. My research interests are in machine learning, operating and distributed systems and program analysis. At NEC, I started the MALT project first working towards efficient RDMA based distributed processing systems with support for non-iid data and efficient synchronization. Recently, I am working on efficient networks and representations as well as applying ML towards systems problems.
