Our Research Departments
The first step to applying for a full-time research position is to search our job openings. When you find an opening you’d like to apply for, click Apply Now and complete our online application. Be sure to attach your CV and research statement.
Your application will be reviewed by the appropriate hiring team. If your background is a good match for the opening, you will be interviewed via phone by an individual or small group. We’ll also request reference letters from at least two of your professional contacts.
If the phone interview goes well, you’ll be invited for an all-day on-site interview. You’ll meet with an HR representative, NECLA’s president and members of your prospective group, and you’ll give a talk about your research. This process may sound intense—and it is!—but it lets us both get to know each other and see if we’re a good fit.
After on-site interviews are complete, the hiring team will meet to review the candidates and determine who will be offered the opportunity to join the NECLA team. The hiring manager or a team member will be in touch with you throughout the process to keep you informed of the status.
