Multicore Fiber refers to an optical fiber that contains multiple individual fiber cores within a single cable. Each core can independently transmit data, enabling parallel data transmission and increasing the overall data capacity of the fiber optic link. Multicore fibers are designed to accommodate multiple communication channels, making them suitable for high-capacity applications in telecommunications and data transmission.
