Pulse Coding refers to a technique in signal processing where information is encoded into a series of pulses, or discrete signal elements, for transmission or storage. The primary goal of pulse coding is to represent analog or continuous signals in a digital form, allowing for efficient and reliable transmission, storage, and processing.


Bipolar Cyclic Linear Coding for Brillouin Optical Time Domain Analysis

We demonstrate, for the first time, that cyclic linear pulse coding can be bipolar for BOTDA sensors, breaking the unipolar limitation of linear coding techniques and elevating the coding gain for a given code length.
