Rain Detection refers to the process of identifying and determining the presence of rainfall using various technologies and sensing mechanisms. This detection can be carried out for different purposes, including weather monitoring, environmental sensing, and automated systems triggering actions based on rainfall conditions.
We present the field trial of an innovative neural network and DAS-based technique, employing a pre-trained CNN fine-tuning strategy for effective rain detection and classification within two practical scenarios.
