HiPES 2026 is the third Workshop on High-Performance eScience Tools and Applications. It takes place on August 25 alongside the Euro-Par 2026 conference in Pisa, Italy, and accepted papers will be published in a revised Euro-Par Workshop Volume in Springer’s LNCS series. Topics span scheduling algorithms, fault tolerance, performance monitoring, and benchmarking for distributed scientific workflows. The workshop puts particular weight on FAIR principles, making data and computational resources findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable across platforms and research communities. Privacy and security around sensitive scientific data also get discussion time, alongside invited talks, contributed papers, and panels. It draws participants from computer science, computational science, domain sciences, and engineering, with an emphasis on practical challenges in deploying eScience solutions in real-world settings.
