Network Tomography is a technique used to infer the internal characteristics of a network by analyzing measurements collected at its edges. Instead of directly observing internal nodes or links, it estimates properties such as traffic flow, delays, or packet loss from end-to-end data. Network tomography is commonly used to monitor and diagnose performance in communication networks.
