Abstract: We report field test results of facility perimeter intrusion detection with distributed-fiber-sensing technology and backscattering-enhanced-fiber by using deployed telecom fiber cables as sensing backhaul. Various intrusive activities, such as walking/jumping at >100ft distance, are detected.
