Abstract: We demonstrate distributed fiber-optic acoustic sensing that employs a mechanical synchronizer to achieve sample-level synchronization of signals across independent sensors. This enables phase-noise suppression and bandwidth extension in standard multi-fiber optical cables without hardware modification.
