NEC Laboratories America (NECLA) participated in the European Conference on Optical Communication (ECOC 2025), one of the world’s premier events for optical networking and photonics research.

ECOC took place in Copenhagen, Denmark, from September 28 to October 2, 2025, bringing together leading scientists, engineers, and industry innovators who are shaping the future of global communications.

NECLA’s researchers presented cutting-edge work across distributed acoustic and fiber sensing, AI-driven data analysis, and optical network optimization, showcasing tremendous innovations that bridge advanced theory with practical applications.
